In the early 1980s Katherine Hamnetts oversized t-shirts with large block letter slogans were adopted by pop bands including Wham!, with her "CHOOSE LIFE" slogan prominently displayed in the music video for "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" and somewhat less prominently in Queens video for Hammer To Fall (worn by Roger Taylor).
The world famous Frankie Say Relax T-Shirt (notice it reads SAY not SAYS) coincided with an extensive and iconic T-shirt marketing campaign during the British summer of 1984, featuring other slogans such as "Frankie Say War! Hide Yourself" and "Frankie Say Relax Dont Do It!"
Similar to the "Keep Calm and Carry on" app, design your slogan, share it with friends, or, send the generated picture to your favourite t-shirt manufacturer and get it produced. Simples :)
